Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world role-playing game set in the sprawling metropolis of Night City, a place where dreams are bought, augmented, and often violently shattered. Players assume the role of V, a mercenary navigating a society ruled by megacorporations, chrome-clad gangsters, and corrupted ideals.

Customization is deep: from facial structure and cybernetic implants to combat proficiencies and life paths. The narrative adapts to the player’s choices, with each decision potentially altering the course of the game’s many intertwining arcs. The player can specialize in stealth, brute force, hacking, or a mix of all three, and modify weapons and augment their body with cyberware for enhanced mobility and perception.

As the player becomes entangled with the digital ghost of rock legend Johnny Silverhand, voiced by Keanu Reeves, they must navigate moral ambiguity and philosophical dilemmas about identity, freedom, and legacy. The city itself is a character — alive with danger, neon-drenched beauty, and stories etched into every street corner. Combat combines first-person gunplay with RPG systems, crafting, and dialogue-driven consequences. Every job, every betrayal, every shard of information has weight.
