Half-Life: Alyx is a VR-exclusive first-person shooter that redefines immersion. Set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2, players step into the shoes of Alyx Vance, a resistance fighter trying to stop the alien Combine from tightening their grip on Earth.
Gameplay is built around physicality — players manipulate the world with their hands: reloading guns, hacking terminals, throwing objects, and interacting with the environment in ways impossible in traditional games. The Gravity Gloves offer a spiritual successor to the Gravity Gun, letting players pull objects from a distance and catch them mid-air.
Combat is deliberate and tense, with limited ammo and deadly enemies forcing players to think fast and move smart. Exploration is equally important, with hidden stashes, environmental storytelling, and gut-punching moments of horror.
